Ultimate is an obsessional search for the perfect picture. With his analytic gaze, a photographer looks at his shots and deeply studies them: measuring the horizon, examining the composition, locating frequent objects, maniacally looking for the punctum theorized by Barthes. The photographer wants to generate the ultimate picture assembling all the 36 shots of his negative roll.
